Here’s some healthy and fast weight loss tips to help get you motivated on losing weight for the new year.

We all know that obesity is a serious health concern, and can also bring about other health issues like asthma, heart disease, sleep problems and many more, but there is a right and wrong way to lose weight.

We’ve all heard that the best weight loss tips include eating right and getting plenty of exercise, but that in itself is not enough information to get us started on a health weight loss diet, especially if you’re an overweight teen.

What you need is specific guidance, like cutting out unhealthy food like fast and processed food and concentrating on fruits and vegetables, wholegrains, lean meat (like chicken and turkey) and fish.

Ideally you should cut out dairy products – no cows milk, or butter, margarine and cheese. Instead look for healthy alternatives like soy milk and soy based spreads.

Most people don’t need professional help to get started using these quick weight loss tips, but some people should consult a health worker of some sort before starting a weight loss diet and exercise program. This generally applies to people with a history of heart and cardiac problems, blood pressure problems and diabetes.
